We were greeted by Daniel. We started with flat bread, which was like pizza.
I had the stuffed chicken with mashed potatoes, broccoli and beans. The chicken was juicy and not too sweet.
My husband had sirloin steak with chips and salad. Steak was cooked perfectly.
We finished with crème brûlée and my husband had a cheesecake we would recommend the three cars on Victoria Street that was a nice meal.

Great place and accommodating waiter,
The crispy chicken entree was very tasty my favourite. The food was very nice steak slightly overcooked for medium but still very tasty and we will be going back, the chicken won us over. Delicious Thank you very much see you again soon

Went with friends ,the waiter was great, and entertained us with his dry humour.I had the t bone steak it was a good feed and cooked to perfection. My husband had the monkfish and I would so recommend that! The sauce and vegetable accompaniment was just delicous, the fish was juicy and well presented. Our friends were just as thrilled with the lamb rack special and the pork belly.Would highly recommend The three cows for great food and good night out.

This was our second time at Three Cows & again they did not disappoint.
We were immediately seated & our waiter came over, introduced himself, took our drink orders & was generally very engaging with all four of us.
We then ordered our meals. The entrees were delightful. I had the pate which was outstanding esp tasty with the beetroot pesto. The ladies shared a plate of mussels which they polished off in no time. The mains were all received in good time & everyone enjoyed them immensely. My wife had the amazing lamb shanks, our other friend had the salmon which she described as divine. My other friend had the Crispy Chicken which he thoroughly enjoyed & I had the stuffed chicken which was very tasty. And judging by the empty plates we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Again a great dinning experience was had by all & we have no hesitation in recommending Three Cows to our family & friends. Mark my words we will be back soon.
Warm regards

Three if us dined at Three Cows Victoria and we all thoroughly enjoyed our evening. From the welcome from Eddison Lee to the final spoon ful of desert, it was a great night. The prawn entree was delicious and beautifully presented and the seafood chowder got a big thumbs up. Two different steak mains and the pork belly were beautifully cooked and excellent sized portions and the deserts disappeared so quickly I never got to have a taste.
I would thoroughly recommend Three Cows Victoria for the quality of food and the great service.

From the moment that Daniel welcomed us to the restaurant, we knew we were in for a great meal! 3 Cows is certainly popular judging by the number of tables in use and it would make sense to book. The food is generous and nicely cooked. The bar.and wine list have plenty to choose from. This is a nice relaxing restaurant with yummy food. What more could you ask for?

We three were greeted in a friendly manner and our orders were taken at the right time. We didn’t have to wait for service, but neither did we feel rushed. Given that the restaurant’s name is Three Cows, I thought that at least one of us ought to try the beef! So, for my entree, I had the Beef Capaccio, which was melt-in-the-mouth delicious! My daughter had the prawn entree, which also tasted fabulous. For my main, I had the single lamb shank - a satisfying and tasty meal. My daughter had pork belly and her partner had the Tower of Pork ribs, both of which were yummy and filling. All three of us agreed we would dine here again. Thank you for the great food and the pleasant ambience!

It was very quiet and reaxing as it was a Tuesday and the food was wonderful. We just had a selection of the entre's and shared them as out meal but all of them were absolutely delicious. I'd highly recommend this place and will be back for sure

We had a fantastic evening at Three Cows. The restaurant was really cosy and inviting. Our male waiter was so friendly and had a wonderful personality which we loved. He was the only waiter in the packed restaurant and has to be the best in all of Christchurch! Meals and drinks all came out on time, served with a lovely smile. I've never seen a waiter more efficient and personable.
We loved the fried calamari, prawn skewers, and garlic bread for Starters, then for Mains the melt-in-your-mouth lamb shank, rib-eye and pile of ribs (all generous servings.) We almost didn't order desserts we were so full, however, we couldn't pass them up seeing everything else had been so tasty - so ordered the creme brulee, cheesecake and chocolate overload (well worth the wait (weight!) Three Cows for us is definitely a place to return to.

My husband and I would both go back to this restaurant in a heartbeat. The food was beautiful and the presentation was also outstanding. We first shared the prawn sceweers which I would say were the best we have ever eaten. Mains were eye fillet and a stuffed chicken breast, once again a AA+++. We finished off with a beautiful sorbet. I actually felt guilty paying 1/2 price for such a beautiful meal.

We found the dinning experience at 3 cows to be of the highest standard.
The décor & ambience was very inviting. The music was perfect for our tastes old school 70's & 80's.
The waiter was very engaging, friendly & attentative.
The food was simply delicious, all our meals came out in good time & cooked perfectly especially the lamb shanks which were outstanding!
We will definitely recommend 3 cows & look forward to going back soon.
Kind regards

I dont know where to start! Food was most excellent. The restaurant had a wonderful positive vibe. And the man whom served us was so quick witted and funny. He had us on twice then we realised he was joking. Was wicked. We all had a great laugh! Great place to eat with friends, family or a cute date. Compliments to the Chef and crew. But thanks to the man whom served us. Your a bloody legend! We will be coming back for sure :)

Whilst our food was cooked nicely.I would suggest the pork belly I had would never have represented great value for money at the full price of 32.50.evn at the discounted rate ,the singular cut of aprox 1cm x 6cm was poor.tasted good though.

We decided to have a meal before our show at the Town Hall. Three Cows was walking distance and an early table was perfect. The food was amazing and the staff was friendly and had a great sense of humour. Wish we could of stayed there longer. Great atmosphere to catch up with friends. If I could give the gentleman a 100 for customer service I would have. He made our evening as he. was best waiter/front of house person I have met.
In addition to his charm he arranged a garlic free meal with the chef for my dad who is allergic to garlic. It was made from scratch as everything on the menu had garlic in the marinade or dressings and dad who is fussy ate the lot and left just as satisfied as the other 7 of us.
A great meal to end an excellent day after attending the Canterbury University graduation for our youngest daughter.

- dined at Three Cows Victoria on

Thoroughly enjoyed our meals, 3 of us had 2 entrees, instead of a main, and were comfortably ‘full’ after this, as was the guy who had an entree and a main. All the dishes were beautifully presented and tasty. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. Pat

Service is not bad.

The chicken was beautiful with the stuffing and the service was excellent, a lovely smiling waitress. We found the Apple & Berry crumble very dry and the apple was barely cooked. I told the waitress and she said this was how the chef made it. So I’d skip that desert next time!!
