Three if us dined at Three Cows Victoria and we all thoroughly enjoyed our evening. From the welcome from Eddison Lee to the final spoon ful of desert, it was a great night. The prawn entree was delicious and beautifully presented and the seafood chowder got a big thumbs up. Two different steak mains and the pork belly were beautifully cooked and excellent sized portions and the deserts disappeared so quickly I never got to have a taste.
I would thoroughly recommend Three Cows Victoria for the quality of food and the great service.

From the moment that Daniel welcomed us to the restaurant, we knew we were in for a great meal! 3 Cows is certainly popular judging by the number of tables in use and it would make sense to book. The food is generous and nicely cooked. The bar.and wine list have plenty to choose from. This is a nice relaxing restaurant with yummy food. What more could you ask for?

We three were greeted in a friendly manner and our orders were taken at the right time. We didn’t have to wait for service, but neither did we feel rushed. Given that the restaurant’s name is Three Cows, I thought that at least one of us ought to try the beef! So, for my entree, I had the Beef Capaccio, which was melt-in-the-mouth delicious! My daughter had the prawn entree, which also tasted fabulous. For my main, I had the single lamb shank - a satisfying and tasty meal. My daughter had pork belly and her partner had the Tower of Pork ribs, both of which were yummy and filling. All three of us agreed we would dine here again. Thank you for the great food and the pleasant ambience!

It was very quiet and reaxing as it was a Tuesday and the food was wonderful. We just had a selection of the entre's and shared them as out meal but all of them were absolutely delicious. I'd highly recommend this place and will be back for sure

We had a fantastic evening at Three Cows. The restaurant was really cosy and inviting. Our male waiter was so friendly and had a wonderful personality which we loved. He was the only waiter in the packed restaurant and has to be the best in all of Christchurch! Meals and drinks all came out on time, served with a lovely smile. I've never seen a waiter more efficient and personable.
We loved the fried calamari, prawn skewers, and garlic bread for Starters, then for Mains the melt-in-your-mouth lamb shank, rib-eye and pile of ribs (all generous servings.) We almost didn't order desserts we were so full, however, we couldn't pass them up seeing everything else had been so tasty - so ordered the creme brulee, cheesecake and chocolate overload (well worth the wait (weight!) Three Cows for us is definitely a place to return to.

My husband and I would both go back to this restaurant in a heartbeat. The food was beautiful and the presentation was also outstanding. We first shared the prawn sceweers which I would say were the best we have ever eaten. Mains were eye fillet and a stuffed chicken breast, once again a AA+++. We finished off with a beautiful sorbet. I actually felt guilty paying 1/2 price for such a beautiful meal.

We found the dinning experience at 3 cows to be of the highest standard.
The décor & ambience was very inviting. The music was perfect for our tastes old school 70's & 80's.
The waiter was very engaging, friendly & attentative.
The food was simply delicious, all our meals came out in good time & cooked perfectly especially the lamb shanks which were outstanding!
We will definitely recommend 3 cows & look forward to going back soon.
Kind regards

The meals were well presented and large. The seafood chowder was tasty and a decent sized bowlful. I had the stuffed chicken breast with seasonal vegetables beautifully cooked and came away very satisfied. I left food on the plate next time will order just a main. The atmosphere was relaxed and had a warm and buzzing vibe and excellent friendly and inviting customer service.

We really enjoyed our meal at Three Cows Victoria. We shared the calamari starter, which was fresh with a crunchy coating. Each of us opted for a steak, trying the three varieties on offer. The steaks were all cooked as we had requested and were tender and tasty. I liked the option of different choices to accompany the steaks: mashed potatoes, roasted potatoes, veggies or salad- too many restaurants only offer the standard steak and fries. Our waiter was attentive and efficient without being intrusive. Just a little request - please stock English and French mustard - they do complement steak so very well.

We were all happy with our meals which were tasty and beautifully presented. One of our party had the pork loin and raved over the flavours and the generous amount. One ordered medium rare steak, however the the middle section was too rare to eat. If you are ordering steak you would need to be quite specific about how you would like it cooked. The staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs.

We went as a family last night and couldn’t fault the food at all. The kids were even asking if we could come back here another time. Only small down side is that the waiter forgot one of our meals that we ordered but didn’t take long before it got made up and Brought out to us. Will definitely be recommending to others.

We returned to Three Cows for an early dinner before a Town Hall Show on Wednesday. From the moment we entered and were greeted enthusiastically by the Maitre D it was a great experience. The food was extremely good and the service exceptional.
The menu offered a wide range of tasty and well-presented dishes and the wine list offered some choices we had never seen. Everything was very good.
We will be back - next time to spend more time when we are not going to a Town Hall performance.

My friend and I really enjoyed our time at the Three Cows. All the staff were so friendly and attentive. Most importantly, they were very approachable. A cozy restaurant with delicious food! Delicious food and good service. My son enjoyed it and gave his thumb ups over and over again.

- dined at Three Cows Victoria on

When we arrived the guy behind the bar didn't even look at us he just pointed at a table, he was busy on his cellphone, the man that came to take our drink, food orders was very nice and bubbly just a shame we weren'ttold about the Chefs specials. I sent my drink back as I noticed the guy behind the bar put his fingers in it to scoop out a piece of lemon..very unhygienic! The food arrived and it was very tough my husband couldn't bite through his. When we paid the guy from behind the bar looked at us as if we were scum..and we both noticed that. All in all due to that guy and the toughness of the meal it was a very disappointing night.

We had chicken, garlic bread and pate for our entrees, these were great. Two of the fish specials and ribs for mains, very nice. Dessert was the best cheesecake I have tasted in a long time - peach, passionfruit and white chocolate, and a brownie which wasn't quite such a hit. Enjoyable meal, waiter very pleasant.
