Fantastic doesn't begin to describe the exceptional experience we had had Bishop Brothers. The food is beyond amazing and Wai is the best waitress we've ever come across. Can't rate this place highly enough. Thank you all so much.

We live on the other side of town and don’t usually eat out around Bishopdale, but we thought we try something different. When we pulled up outside we were greeted with a dilapidated exterior and upon entering the restaurant there was an army of pokey machines.
We were immediately welcomed though and were taken to our table. From there on things just got better and better. The satay chicken skewers and dumplings were perfectly cooked and delicious. For mains I had steak which was cooked to perfection, my partner had salmon which he said was amazing.
What made our meal really special though was our waitress, Wai. She was so polite and friendly and gave us just the right amount of attention without being overbearing. I have no doubt that with her attitude she will go far in life and if Bishop Brothers wants to keep her she should get a pay rise pronto! I’ve had much worse food and service in some of the top restaurants in town! Give Bishop Brothers a go!

Took my 80year old neighbour out for tea for all she does for me over the year, first time she had been out for dinner since losing her husband and she fully loved it, meal was a bit too big for her so she quite happily asked the waitress if she could take the left over garlic bread and half her meal home wish she had the next day, the waitress couldn't have been more helpful and kept checking on us for drinks and to see if meal was good, the cook that cooked the steak did the perfect job of it cooked rare and so tender

Superb staff! Really warm & knowledgeable with their menus.
Atmosphere was great for a pub and the food was amazing. My hubby had the ribs and rates them as one of the best but his highlight was the cheesecake - he'll be back just for that cheesecake!
My Angus rump steak was cooked to perfection.
Perfect meal and perfect staff. We'll definitely be back

The empty plates at the end of the meal was testament to the great food we devoured on the night. Excellent service - will definitely go again.

Ordered monkfish wrapped in bacon. My sister-in-law would always use the phrase "to die for" In other words it's delicious! I have the pork belly and it just melt in your mouth. A toast to the chef!

Looks can be deceiving! We didnt know what to expect when we arrived at Bishop Brothers with the outdated decor and menu. But we were totally surprised. The service was outstanding. The two girls who served us were professional and helpful. We ordered the steak and ribs. Both were delicious. Will definitely return!

Warm & friendly welcome from Wai, we ordered a beef burger & crumbed gurnard in a caper sauce. Meals were delivered quicker than expected & were delicious. For Dessert we had a lemon tart & mixed berry cheesecake. Highly recommended & we have already planned what to eat next time we visit.

Went here with my partner for dinner last night. We had the seafood chowder and satay chicken skewers as a starter and both were tasty. We ordered the Ribeye Steak medium rare and BBQ pork ribs as our mains. The steak was cooked to perfection! All portions of food were generous and the service was EXCELLENT!

It was a Pub quiz night so a bit noise, however the staff were quite nice . The food came out quickly. The pub quickly filled, but the staff remained courteous and friendly. The meals were well presented and cooked well.

BBQ ribs delicious and good variety of options

Lovely staff, the atmosphere was really cool and relaxed. The food came out quickly and the woman servicing us was very helpful. The one issue was the steak that I had was quite under done. A part from that the food was great. Cob loaf was fresh and yummy, with the chips and the ribs being outstanding. Would recommend.

Top Notch for a pub! Excellent all round food and service. A waitress with a memory like an elephant impresses me every time.

Raw chicken burger.
Didn't get the choice whether we wanted another burger or not as there was no discussion at all. Second chicken burger was rubbery. Steak was good. Very disappointing.Pricing is very over the top for the state of the restaurant and in the suburbs.

This was one of the best places I've eaten! Their dumplings entree was absolutely amazing, and their steak was beautiful and cooked exactly how I asked, the service was absolutely fantastic, my fiance and I felt very welcomed as soon as we stepped foot through the door, they were always coming over to see how things were going and they were all super lovely, would've loved to try a dessert but was too full from the yummy entree and mains, next time I'll make room for it for sure as I'll be back with the rest of my family.

Lovely meal. Great service

- dined at Bishop Brothers Public House on

As a group of four we were presented with lovely looking food, the steak, pasta and childrens meal was delicious but unfortunately the pork belly was tough which made it hard to get through.
The dining experience itself for a Sunday night unfortunately was too loud, there was a lovely man singing but we could hardly talk to each other and the noisy patrons from betting on the TAB made it a not so kid friendly atmosphere with some of the language used.
The staff were lovely and if there was a wall dividing the restaurant to the actual pub I think this would make a dining experience more pleasurable
