Fantastic doesn't begin to describe the exceptional experience we had had Bishop Brothers. The food is beyond amazing and Wai is the best waitress we've ever come across. Can't rate this place highly enough. Thank you all so much.

We live on the other side of town and don’t usually eat out around Bishopdale, but we thought we try something different. When we pulled up outside we were greeted with a dilapidated exterior and upon entering the restaurant there was an army of pokey machines.
We were immediately welcomed though and were taken to our table. From there on things just got better and better. The satay chicken skewers and dumplings were perfectly cooked and delicious. For mains I had steak which was cooked to perfection, my partner had salmon which he said was amazing.
What made our meal really special though was our waitress, Wai. She was so polite and friendly and gave us just the right amount of attention without being overbearing. I have no doubt that with her attitude she will go far in life and if Bishop Brothers wants to keep her she should get a pay rise pronto! I’ve had much worse food and service in some of the top restaurants in town! Give Bishop Brothers a go!

Took my 80year old neighbour out for tea for all she does for me over the year, first time she had been out for dinner since losing her husband and she fully loved it, meal was a bit too big for her so she quite happily asked the waitress if she could take the left over garlic bread and half her meal home wish she had the next day, the waitress couldn't have been more helpful and kept checking on us for drinks and to see if meal was good, the cook that cooked the steak did the perfect job of it cooked rare and so tender

Superb staff! Really warm & knowledgeable with their menus.
Atmosphere was great for a pub and the food was amazing. My hubby had the ribs and rates them as one of the best but his highlight was the cheesecake - he'll be back just for that cheesecake!
My Angus rump steak was cooked to perfection.
Perfect meal and perfect staff. We'll definitely be back

The empty plates at the end of the meal was testament to the great food we devoured on the night. Excellent service - will definitely go again.

Ordered monkfish wrapped in bacon. My sister-in-law would always use the phrase "to die for" In other words it's delicious! I have the pork belly and it just melt in your mouth. A toast to the chef!

Had a lovely dinner with their great service.
The portion of the food was great. Just found the desert to be average but overall pretty good.

Had wonderful meals as always. Tonight we had the fillet steaks and there was no need for steak knives as they were so tender and juicy. They couple have been better! The waitress was so busy but still managed to tend to us well.

We went on Sunday, so it was fairly quiet. Have been here before but not on first table. The meals were of generous portions and the steak was cooked to perfection. Would definitely be returning.

The. Decor gives you no clue as to how luscious the meals were. 3 of us had the roast of the day, so tender, tasty and beautifully set out. The fish was amazing according to our 4th member of our group. Highly recommend.

Nice little pub restaurant with really good sized portions and some great food. It is important to remember that this is a restaurant and pub combined, so it can be noisy at times and pub type food is best. I have to make special mention of the staff who were all really friendly and helpful.

We were a party of three and enjoyed our main meals. We ordered desserts but had a really long wait for them and had to go and ask for them. We were then told that our desserts had to wait as they were wanting to get all of the main meals out of the kitchen for the other diners. A very unusual reason and one I’ve never encountered again. They had no idea whether we were on a limited timeline or not. When we did receive them, two of the three were very disappointing. We ordered two apple strudel and custards. The pastry on the strudel should have been crispy but was soggy. It had been microwaved to reheat which of course doesn’t crisp the pastry. And the custard was very thin, the same pouring consistency of water. When we spoke to the manager about our desserts we were told that they can’t have crispy pastry on the strudel as they can only microwave it. Do they. Or have an oven? Why would you have something on your menu that you can’t serve as it should be. She did however give us the option of a refund, a different dessert or a glass of wine, so we appreciated that.

This is the 4th time we've dined at Bishop Brother's. In the past we've always really enjoyed the food and service.. And this time was no exception! :). Friendly knowledgeable staff, helpful and very polite. Food was excellent. Well presented, tasty and filling. We couldn't fit in dessert, but I so want to try that sticky date pudding!! 10/10, well done guys!

A very average pub type meal, poorly presented, and a steak tough and not cooked to request.
Others at the table were likewise unimpressed.

First time at Bishop Brothers for dinner out.
Service and food was good we didn't pout!
First the dumplings with a delicious dipping sauce.
Dressed to the nines like we rode in on a horse!
Enjoyed a cold gin and a beer, to have with the first dine out for the year!
Next was the pork belly, veges crackling and all.
Along with his steak meal, yum we were full!
No pudding for us we couldn't eat anymore.
Bishop brothers staff thank you we'll be to adore!

The lamb rack was great. The only let down was the garlic bread it did not have enough garlic the garlic was bland and did not taste like fresh garlic. Was not worth $10
