Enjoy the vibrant and festive vibes of a traditional Mexican restaurant with a Californian twist at The Barrio Brothers Tauranga. Inspired by the Spanish word "barrio," meaning "neighbourhood," they aim to bring that sense of community and vibrant Mexican dining culture to Tauranga.

Catering to all preferences with both cosy indoor and breezy outdoor seating, this family-friendly spot also boasts a function room accommodating up to 80 guests, making it ideal for celebrations. The welcoming decor, featuring surfboards, funky lights, and beach art, creates a vibrant Southern Californian atmosphere, making one feel right at home.

Driven by a philosophy of sharing the joy of authentic and tantalising Mexican cuisine, Barrio Brothers centres its menu on fresh, locally sourced ingredients, evident in their delicious offerings from mouth-watering tacos to signature Mexican specials.

With a family-friendly approach, this restaurant provides kids' menus with classics like chicken strips and quesadillas, and also invites children to discover new tastes from the main offerings. Moreover, their flavourful and spicy vegan/vegetarian options, such as jackfruit carnitas taco or vegan naybiru, ensure there's something for everyone.

Continuing the South-Cali theme, their extensive bar offers a wide selection, including craft beers from United Brewing, a variety of wines, and their famous margaritas, which are a definite must-try.

Combining tantalising Mexican dishes with locally sourced produce, Barrio Brothers is designed to satisfy taste buds with every bite.
