Olive and Fig brings a warm, family-run spirit to Mount Maunganui, offering genuine hospitality and a cosy, convivial setting in the Bay of Plenty. Here, dining is designed for sharing, with the hum of conversation and the clink of plates setting the tone for a relaxed, sociable feast.

The kitchen looks to Greece for inspiration and to local, seasonal produce for its soul. Classics like moussaka and flaky filo pie sit comfortably alongside charcoal-kissed favourites - a Greek lamb chop bright with olive oil, garlic, oregano and lemon over green pea purée - chargrilled chicken paired with pumpkin and sumac purée - and oven-baked fish layered with tomatoes, onions, garlic and olives.

From the sea, prawn souvlaki arrives with pillowy pita, cool tzatziki and crisp salad, while bowls of horiatiki and platters of grilled vegetables bring freshness and smoke to the table.

Thoughtfully tailored for Kiwi palates yet faithful to the essence of Greek cooking, Olive and Fig balances familiarity with a sense of discovery. It is the kind of place where plates are passed, stories are shared, and every bite invites another.

Gather your favourite people and settle in for a leisurely spread. Book a table, enjoy the vibrant atmosphere and let the good times roll - one generous plate at a time!
