Annabelles is a long-established restaurant on the waterfront. Bought by Susan Cho in 1998, it’s well loved by locals and visitors alike. The Korean-born horticulture student purchased the restaurant after falling in love with the name, which reminded her of an Edgar Allan Poe poem. This spark of inspiration triggered a long and successful career as owner and maître d' at one of Auckland’s best-loved restaurants.

Susan knows her clientele well and keeps the menu and wine list seasonal and fresh, so there’s always something new to try. Focusing on European style dishes with an exotic twist, Annabelles’ lamb and beef menu has won the NZ Lamb and Beef awards each year for a decade!
