Located on idyllic Long Bay, Obella boasts stunning views that go on for as far as the eye can see. Taking on the form of an up-market conservatory, this eatery makes the most of its grassy surrounds with a wall made entirely of glass. Inside, you can't help the feeling of immense space, thanks to its sky-high ceilings and minimalist furnishings. Fusing the indoors and outdoors, it's a welcome haven from the mundane everyday.

Kick-off your evening the Turkish way - with some fresh bread and tangy dips. Sample a bit of everything, from their creamy hummus to the smoky baba ganoush and refreshing tzatziki. If you have some bread leftover, use it to soak up every last drop of the soup of the day. Alternatively, begin with the classic Greek salad with grilled halloumi and chicken if you so wish.

Among the mains are some absolute gems, like the seafood fettuccine which comes with mild sambal, a cream reduction and can be customised to suit vegetarians. If you're looking for rich and intense flavours, the Moroccan lamb tagine is cooked low and slow with heaps of herbs and spices whilst the Turkish Iskender showcases the best grilled meat in the house. Round it off with some of the best desserts the Med has to offer. Just remember to brush off any surplus pastry from your Baklava - it happens to the best of us!
