Perched atop Westfield Newmarket, Baha Betty brings a laid-back, eclectic slice of Californian-Baja sunshine to Auckland. Inspired by the vibrant cross-border spirit of San Diego and Baja California, it leans into bright flavours, beach-town ease and a mellow rooftop rhythm made for relaxed evenings and easy-going dinners.

The menu skims from shore to street. Think whole prawns with Creole cornbread, black garlic and burnt lime, or calamari lifted with tamarind and mint. Tacos lean bold, from lamb barbacoa with salsa borracha to tri-tip steak with chimichurri, while quesadillas fold into rich peanut mole sauce.

Lighter touches include a Niçoise with pink seared tuna and a colourful poke crowned with seared tofu. Crowd-pleasers run to shoestring fries or crispy polenta fries, hearty nachos, and a vanilla sundae laced with salt caramel.

A creative refreshment menu splices local flavours with Cali-Baja accents, perfect for enjoying the sunshine on this rooftop perch. With coeliac-friendly and vegan-friendly choices, Baha Betty is as welcoming as it is breezy.

Linger into dinner and let the border-hopping flavours do the talking at Baha Betty. Book a spot and catch some culinary sunshine - no sunscreen required!
