Mount Eden residents are in for a real treat at Taste of India. They started small in 2009 and have since grown to become one of Auckland's most authentic Indian restaurants.

Mirrors line the walls, and authentic Indian tapestries decorate the area where diners eagerly await their meals. Indian memorabilia, ranging from photographs to instruments, adds to the establishment's welcoming cultural atmosphere. Staff work together to provide customers with nothing but attentive service.

The menu features a variety of authentic dishes from all four corners of India. Lamb dishes are a popular choice, thanks to their abundance of herbs and spices that create a perfectly balanced flavour profile. The goat korma is also worth trying, as is the well-known Taste of India mixed platter for those who can't decide.

In conclusion, it is an authentic oasis of all things Indian. From savoury rice biriyani dishes to Chinese Mumbai American cuisine, Taste of India will not only meet but exceed your group's expectations.
