dinner

Mount Eden’s Eden Cloak Room offers a thoughtful, graze-first approach to modern dining. The kitchen balances Southern European comfort with vibrant Latin influences.

Crispy potatoes with chive and beef shin croquettes dusted in parmesan set the initial pace. Cured slices of jamon serrano and lomo encourage lingering, while cold plates such as burrata and chicken liver parfait focus on silken textures.

A prawn tostada sharpened by lime and chilli brings heat alongside a beef bavette lifted by mojo verde. Desserts offer clever contrasts: chocolate mousse meets pumpkin seed praline and olive oil, while panna cotta features burnt pineapple, honey, and bay leaf.

The menu suits an unhurried catch-up or a spontaneous bite. Book a seat, bring a friend, and enjoy an evening that fits as comfortably as a well-cut cloak.
