Their mains keep New Zealand on top of the agenda with merino lamb rump, beef short rib and ora king salmon waving the nation's flag. That's not to say that they don't use local ingredients to put their own spin on international dishes too. Indeed, their tofu chow main and Nepalese momos use seasonal vegetables to make them just like the real things.

They also know how to make an incredible burger. With six burgers and sandwiches to choose from, there's the Queen's Head signature beef burger, as well as a tandoori chicken burger, falafel and roast chicken burger.
