Welcome to Glocal Bistro, Upper Hutt's vibrant dining spot where global flavours meet local charm. Situated in Upper Hutt, Wellington, this lively restaurant celebrates classic comfort food with a twist that’s sure to appeal to both food enthusiasts and casual diners.

Enter Glocal Bistro and you’ll find a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with the scent of sizzling burgers and rich pasta sauces in the air. The decor is a perfect mix of contemporary chic and homely comfort, making it the ideal place for a laid-back lunch with colleagues or a cozy dinner date.

Kick off your meal with their "Bites to Start" selection, where the chicken nibbles promise to get your appetite going. But the real highlights are the "Between the Buns" – the homemade beef burger with its juicy patty and smoky bacon is a hearty homage to classic Kiwi tastes, while the House Special Chicken Burger introduces a zesty twist with lime-chili mayo. Vegetarians have plenty to enjoy too, with the veggie burger offering a crispy, flavorful choice that’s just as zestful.

For those with a penchant for Italian, the "Build Your Own Pasta" section lets you play with your food in the best way. Choose from fettuccine, penne, or spaghetti, and team it with a robust Neapolitan or a rich creamy white sauce. Add your preferred proteins, like succulent prawns or earthy mushrooms, and craft a dish that’s all your own.

No bistro experience would be complete without a drink, and Glocal Bistro’s cocktail menu is as creative as it is quenching. Spirits are chosen to complement your meal, ensuring that every sip enhances each bite.

Glocal Bistro is more than a dining spot; it’s where global flavors are enjoyed, conversations flow as easily as the drinks and every visit feels like a meet-up with friends. It’s Upper Hutt’s own little piece of the globe, presented with a generous dose of Kiwi hospitality.
