Dive into Wellington's own bayou at Sweet Mother's Kitchen.

Where the soul of New Orleans meets the heart of Wellington, Sweet Mother's Kitchen is a Creole carnival for the senses. As you step in, the eclectic décor, reminiscent of a Southern diner, wraps you in a warm embrace, making you feel right at home in the heart of Courtenay Place.

Their menu is a tantalising tapestry of Southern comfort. From the crispy 'Hush puppies' that whisper tales of the Deep South to the 'Leghorn buttermilk fried chicken' that promises a dance of flavours on your palate, every dish is a journey down the Mississippi. And if you're in the mood for a taste of the sea, their 'Prawn Monica Pasta' and 'Cajun blackened fish' are sure to reel you in.

But what's a Southern soirée without a drink in hand? Sip on their signature 'Hurricane', a whirlwind of rums and tropical juices, or the 'Spiced Rum Pina Colada', a creamy concoction with a hint of in-house spice. And as the evening winds down, indulge in the 'Bananas Foster', a classic New Orleans dessert that's flambeed to perfection.

At Sweet Mother's Kitchen, every meal feels like Mardi Gras, and every bite a bead of joy.
