dinner

Winner winner chicken dinner; or so the saying goes... and yet, this eatery has many more feathers to its bow. Specialising in wholesome comfort eats, it'll always reign triumphant when it comes to your dinner plans!

A modern, inclusive all-day eatery with a colourful cabinet of fresh daily salads tailored to the season and sweet pies served by the slice; this is soul food in a trademark Welly setting. It's so casual and spacious, you'd never guess it was located on the eternally busy Courtenay Place.

We promised comfort food, and gosh darn that's what you're going to get! First up is the free-range rotisserie chicken that's brined and slow-roasted over volcanic coal for that fall-off-the-bone tenderness. Up next is their speciality fried chicken; all you have to do is choose your spice level. We don't want you crying your way through the rest of the evening... unless it's been a rotten day and Winner Winner is in the process of cheering you up.

Vegetarian or vegan? They’ve got options for everyone and while they do see the chicken shop irony in this, it’s important that you can share a meal with the people you love. Moving swiftly on, their burgers and hot sandwiches will see you through any rainy/windy evening. Dressed in a rich gravy, the pulled chicken roll is an absolute (yep, that's right) winner! Load up with some loaded fries or mac ‘n’ cheese for the side and pat yourself on the back for absolutely bossing this day. And in that spirit, slice of pinky pie anyone?
