Over priced menu as poor quality meals, outdated venue. Put on par with rural valentines.

Booked in for the lamb rack but it had been changed to lamb rump. The service was great oysters were a good size. Wagyu was delicious with creamy peppercorn sauce. And the panacotta tart was a treat. My partner and I loved this place. We paid what we would have for the cost of a buffet. Great. Keen to try next time though. A 4 was given just because we missed a plate but almost got charged in the end. Will return

Dining at Whitby's is an exciting experience. You get a nice view of the city, and where we were seated near the window, we had a great view.

The oysters were excellent. We saw that if an oyster shell's content was relatively small, they added another piece to make it worthwhile - wha a great idea!

The steak [I tasted both types as my wife ordered the other option] were both excellent. The chimichurri sauce was great.

The service was generally good; I only gave 4 stars as when our water ran out, I asked the lady for a refill, but she did not come back for the refill; it was another person who gave a new bottle of water. Other than that, the service was great.

Overall it was a great dining experience.

This was my wife and my introduction to First Table dining. From the warm welcome the service continued to be attentive and friendly. Everything we ordered was excellent from the presentation, fine dining quality of the food and generous portion size. The live, background piano music added to the ambience. Highly recommended.

My partner and I had a birthday dinner here and had an amazing time. The food was absolutely delicious and served promptly. The staff were lovely, one lady in particular however we didn't catch her name, we are usually tight for money and going out for dinner is a rare occasion but we just felt the need to give her a tip so she will know who she is. I hope her boss gives her the credit she deserves, hands down the best waitress we've come across :) All in all it was a great night, will be coming back on special occasions for sure!
