Firing up the Wellington dining scene is Dragon's Restaurant. Specialising in dim sum and yum cha, it's time you got sum yum in your life. Named one of New Zealand's top 100 restaurants by Cuisine Magazine in 2019, foodies are in for a real treat.

Traditionally in China, yum cha is an invitation to catch up on the latest news and gossip over some delicious morsels of dim sum and refreshing tea. It's a delightful ritual that's taken seriously, as it should be! Bamboo steamers, communal seating and gallons upon gallons of tea all play an important role and you can expect it all (and more) at Dragons Restaurant.

This ritual comes in many delicious forms. Whether you prefer your food hot or cold or with chicken, pork, beef or tofu, there's a section dedicated to each on the menu. Immerse yourself in the communal dining style with one of their sharing platters that includes spring rolls, dumplings, calamari and chicken wings.

And nothing will get tongues wagging like one of their sizzling hot plates! You've got everything from stuffed eggplant to lamb cutlets, stir-fried goodies and tofu with pork mince. And we haven't even got to the Cantonese BBQ and the showstopping rice and noodle dishes! So go ahead and give the gang a ring... this food is meant to be shared with loved ones.
