First time visit, really enjoyed the whole experience - atmosphere, food, service. The staff were attentive without being over the top, friendly and helpful with suggestions. The food was beautifully presented, with taste to match. My Australian visitors commenting on how delicious and fresh it was! Our table was at the back, which was perfect to have a great conversation out of the way of the busy bar area. We felt that we could be relaxed and never rushed. Certainly going again!

Food was phenomenal. Service was immaculate. Coco's Bar and Grill continues to be one of Wellington's top restaurants, with an incredible selection of craft beers, wine, cocktails, all the while providing a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere in the modern context. The decor of the restaurant is warm and comforting, and the food is confrontational, beautifully presented, and masterfully prepared. I had the potato cakes with goat cheese and a chickpea salad, while my date had the grilled salmon with wasabi peas and a pumpkin puree. Both dishes were fantastic, and Coco's Bar and Grill continues to set the bar high for its competitors.

Our first table for 3 at Coco's was ver pleasant. The food was very good AND some plates like the pork belly was excellent. But the most outstanding of the evening was the waiter. She was excellent in all her services. We would enjoy coming back ay any time

Coco's has great ambience from the moment you walk through the door.
Our table was down the back, away from the bar, which was perfect as it was private and not at all noisy.
Orders were quickly taken and we didn't have to wait long. Our cocktails arrived quickly and were good. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Japanese European fusion at its best!
They also make good coffee!
Overall an enjoyable dining experience. Highly recommended.

Wow! What a night. I can't recommend this enough. Good food, good service, and good with allergies. The atmosphere is lovely, with comfy seats and comfortingly neutral decor which emphasise the light and space. We had some small plates to start which were all exquisitely tasty - spicy buffalo chicken and tasty Chao Shou wonton soup which lured in even the spice-phobic member of our group with its amazing flavour. The mains featured melt-in-your-mouth meat and the vegetarian offering was also a treat- potato and kumara cakes with a pumpkin curry. We finished off with some shared desserts which came with some of the best sorbet we've ever tasted. The food all looked exquisite and tasted even better. What a treat!

We enjoyed our dining experience at Coco’s Bar & Grill, we weren’t especially hungry & there were two of us so we opted for the chicken quinoa salad, tofu, potsticker dumplings, edamame beans and salt & pepper squid. All the dishes were delicious! The service was excellent and the staff nice & friendly. We sat at a table next to the fire which was nice and cosy, our drinks arrived promptly and the atmosphere was great. Would definitely recommend this place!

Mega impressed! The food was absolutely beautiful and clearly much attention was paid to detail - everything was so tasty and beautifully presented! We ordered the spring rolls and salt and pepper squid for entrees, and the vegetarian ravioli for main course (would highly recommend all of the above). We also received excellent service - the staff are really friendly and attentive, and the food was served super quickly. Thank you Coco’s for the top notch dining experience :)

We had an amazing evening at Coco!
Arrived at 5.30 and we were warmly greeted and taken to our table next to the 'fire' (gas).
It was a cold evening so that was very appreciated.

We ordered drinks and talked over the menu with our waitress.

Entrees arrived prompty and tasted incredible!
The chicken was cooked to perfection.

For mains we got the Salmon and Lamb Shank.

My partner said it was the best salmon she has ever had any my Lamb Shank was falling off the bone.

For dessert the chocolate mousse was the perfect 'icing on the cake'.

When it came time to pay, we were pleasantly surprised to be told the drinks were discounted too as it was happy hour.

Thank you Coco for the amazing evening, it was the best night out we have had in Wellington so far. 10/10 experience

Partner and I were initially just after dinner before heading to a show, but ended up being blown away by the food at Coco's and dinner ended up becoming the highlight of the night!
We opted for the small plates menu and got 6 dishes, which were all very satisfying and was a good amount for 2 people.
Best bits: Beef Tataki, Jalapeno Poppers, margaritas, the lovely and attentive staff
It was great to try a restaurant in a part of town we normally don't dine in. Definitely coming back!

The atmosphere was really good and the service was amazing! The food was yum, I had the pork belly and it was delicious. The portions were on the small side so just don’t go in expecting a heaping plate. I really like the way the restaurant and bar is set up with an optional outdoor area and a more private quiet space near the back. There is also a fireplace you can be seated next to so you won’t get cold!

The dining experience was excellent. The Food was great flavours that blended in. The small plates are a fantastic concept to allow a multitude of dish sampling.
Service was very good and non-intrusive.
Only point to consider was we went during the week at a happy hour where the bar was rather full and subsequently loud. We were seated where it was not so loud which was total consideration.
Will certainly revisit for a meal - really enjoyed

Service was good, food was ok. Mushroom sauce with steak was watery with finely chopped mushroom sitting at the bottom. Calamari was nice.

Ordered two Calamari salads, was dissapointed that they came with very little calamari. Ended up ordering more sides as was left hungry still after the meal.

Lovely food with fresh and tasty ingredients. On first look at the menu there didn’t seem to be much that suited me as I’m gluten intolerant. Some of the small plates are not marked GF but are suitable. Had the salmon main - delicious and portion size was perfect.
Plenty of room between tables and diners so good for conversation catching up with a friend o hadn’t seen for a while.

The food was excellent, with the meat tasty and tender, however the serving of vegetables was very small. You would need to order extra vegetables or an entree if you were particularly hungry.
Service was prompt and friendly and the restaurant decor was nice.

Service was incredibly efficient! Food came out quick and everything was delicious, although if you're looking for a hot Buffalo Wing you may be disappointed with the heat from the in-house made sauce which is more of a honey base, that aside everything was great!

We were four ladies attending WOW and this restaurant was directly across from the TSB Area so was a perfect choice for an early dinner - seems like it is very popular as it was busy. We had salmon, chicken, steak and the vegetarian so covered all the mains and thought the presentation and taste was lovely. Generous proportions of steak and salmon - only comment was one end of the salmon was slightly undercooked but the accompaniments and sauces were great. Sadly didn't have time for dessert but would definitely come back here.

Thoroughly enjoyable dinner at Coco's. The scallops and pot stickers were delicious appetizers. The men were very satisfied with their steak and pork belly - best they've had! Us ladies enjoyed the salmon cooked to perfection. The sticky date pudding was perfect to finish off the meal. Kudos to the chef!

One of the best eye fillet in town. It was rightly cooked and seasoned into perfection. Pork ribs was tender, soft and tasty. Love the aroma of red wine sauce into it. Lastly, the spicy chicken wings truly represent the asian flavour and taste.

On the other hand, service was superb. Servers are alert and friendly. Ambience is also relaxing. Overall, I had a blast.

I’m ready to go dine again and do it during lunch time to grab burgers. I heard they have tasty burgers, especially their WOAP burger.

Service: Our waitress was very nice, however, they didn't have a table for our booking and seemed a little stressed/disorganised when we first arrived.
Food: we ordered small plates to share and these were pretty good but not amazing.
