What an outstanding meal!! We couldn’t fault the food or service at all. We were very happily given a table by the window with beautiful views out onto the lake.
We then chose the grazing platter which filled us up so much. Lots of different lovely things to taste.
My partner then had the beef which was cooked to perfection and I had the salmon which again was just cooked so beautifully. The side vegetables and chips were also fabulous.
Unfortunately we had eaten too much and there was no room for desert but next time we come we will definitely have to try some of those on the menu .

I’ve had numerous coffee times at Wine Glass but this was my first dinner. We dined with friends from Christchurch and we definitely will return with other guests. Very pleasant surroundings and spectacular vies. Thanks for an enjoyable evening.

We arrived to warm smiles and a very polite waitress, the service through the entire evening was impeccable and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing, something that is hard to find around Wanaka.
Although the wine list was incredible we opted for the mulled wine and it was beauitful. We both ordered the beetroot risotta with haloumi, made with Carnaroli rice which made the texture rich and satisfying, simply the best risotto we have ever had.
Thankyou for the great night, we will definitely recommend to our friends and will be returning very soon :)

This was our first booking with first table and love the concept. Our meal at Wineglass Cafe Edgewater was amazing. We chose the shared slow cooked lamb shoulder which was generously sized and perfectly cooked with large serve of tasty vegetables. Very impressed with the meal presentation and with our attentive wait staff. The location is perfect overlooking the lake. During our 2 weeks in Wanaka we twice enjoyed morning tea with delicious freshly baked scones at Edgewater. Loved the warm open fire.

Great location, with fabulous views of the lake. Both the starters and the main course were delicious.........unfortunately, we had no room left for dessert!

Grazing platter was very generous with something to suit all tastes. Slow roasted lamb shoulder was a winner with the meat loving boys! Huge serving would easily feed three.

We had a really lovely meal, steak was delicious but my real favourite was the walnut and blue cheese salad, it was packed with yummy things. Roaring fire creates a cosy atmosphere.

Food is good. Menu is slightly different than last time we came. My confit dock let is awesome. Salmon croquettes were delicious. I love the combination of seaweed with pork belly. Our server Eama is really friendly and helpful, with smile all the time even it’s busy in restaurant. Thumbs up!! Will definitely recommend to dine in.
