In Wanaka Central, Stoked Local food truck rolls in with a vibrant slice of Argentinian street culture. Rooted in a philosophy that treats food as sacred, this passionate mobile kitchen honours slow-cooked meats, punchy sauces and the joy of sharing.

From the first sizzle to the golden warmth of empanadas, everything's served fresh, hot and generous. The sanguches here read like love letters to flavour: Argie Roots layers tender beef brisket with chimichurri and smoked mayo, lifted by crisp greens, while Spice Girl brings crunchy chicken schnitzel with buffalo mayo, slaw, hot honey and pickles.

Empanadas keep things classic, from traditional family recipe beef to bacon and cheese. For heft, loaded bowls double down on comfort with the tender brisket or pulled pork brightened by honey mustard mayo and jalapeños.

The atmosphere is naturally lively and community-minded, with local ingredients and sustainable practices at its heart. From street-style mains to authentic heritage recipes, every single dish showcases care, quality and craft.
