Lady Tortilla brings the colour and conviviality of Mexican street food to the heart of Wānaka at Roy’s Yard. Anchored in authentic family recipes, fresh, locally sourced produce and a distinctive New Zealand twist, it serves flavours that are bright, smoky and joyfully moreish. Best of all, it's enjoyed in the easy-going bustle of Roy’s Yard, where casual, al fresco dining feels like a small fiesta.

Tacos arrive three to a serve, filled with chicken al pastor, beef birria or tofu al pastor, lifted by coriander and pickled onion for a crisp, citrusy snap. Then come the flautas: crisp, golden and ready to shatter, packed with chicken or potato with a scatter of crumbled feta for good measure. It's honest cooking where texture, spice and freshness do the talking.

On the sweet side, a slice of New York-style rainbow cheesecake speaks indulgence, or a box of white chocolate pride macarons to share in good company.

Swing by for a trio of tacos under the evening sky, linger for dessert, and let the flavours roll in. Pull up a chair and make a date with Lady Tortilla!
