It seems unlikely that you'd escape the urban grind at Urban Grind, but you'll have to take our word for it. Serving tapas-style dinners, this eatery is paving the way in Wanaka's eclectic dining scene.

Easy-breezy and laid back, Urban Grind is the ultimate spot to unwind.

Sharing is their speciality and you have lots of tasty small plates to choose from. The menu changes frequently with dishes using fresh seasonal ingredients by chefs who are inspired by global cuisine. Some examples are spiced chicken wings (always a crowd-pleaser) followed by NZ arrow squid with Asian dressings and their intensely flavourful marinated steak cooked however you like. Then pad it out with some roast potatoes, bruschetta or some sweet n' juicy carrots and beets.

Alternatively, there are gourmet pizzas on offer too if you fancy your own plate. Now, for the biggest treat of all... Urban Grind boasts the largest range of craft beers in darling Wanaka! We've said it, the secret's out! Check out what they have on offer and see the evening out in front of the fire.

We had a pleasant surprise un a lovely sunday dinner. We often go to Urban Grind for breakfast bit we never tried going for dinner, and we didn't know what to expect . But we were totally surprised with the food, the menu and even the drinks. We enjoyed our sharing plates and we had to order more, not because we were full, but because it was so good. Pizza were amazing and the blue cod sharing plate was extra good. We will definitely go back.
