Always modest, especially when it comes to their own culinary talent, The Good Spot Eatery is not only good, it's brilliant!

With the likes of Chef Tript at the helm, you're in mighty good hands here. Having trained in some of the most demanding restaurants in NZ and mastered Middle Eastern, French and Asian cuisines, amongst others, it's safe to say that he knows what he's doing. And all in a romantic, cosy setting. Indulging his soft spot for all things Asian, the paper lanterns of Hoi An illuminate the space and afford it a beautiful glow. Elegant with a lush and plentiful backdrop, there are plenty of reasons to choose this as your next occasion destination.

And who says you can't mark a special occasion with a spot of brunch? Classic plates like eggs benedict and full breakfasts are upgraded with brisket, crispy kale and whipped feta, bringing something different to the dishes we know and love. Lunch plates venture further to Asia with pork ramen, bang bang duck and also methi.

By dinnertime, Asia still remains strong with Korean fried cauliflower, tuna sashimi, butter chicken and cumin beef lining the selection of mains. They're also whipping out handmade dumplings to enjoy alongside, as well as theatrical sizzlers from the griddle. And just like that, The Good Spot Eatery just became The Best Spot Eatery!
