In the heart of Masterton, Ammu South Indian Restaurant brings the warmth and heritage of South India to the Wairarapa, with a sister spot in Upper Hutt Central, Wellington.

Here, culinary tradition is handled with care and pride, then presented with a modern ease that feels instantly welcoming.

The menu moves confidently across authentic South Indian specialities and much-loved classic curries before stepping into a spirited Indo-Chinese fusion. Every dish relies on fresh ingredients and precise spicing, striking a seamless balance between gently aromatic notes and hearty flavours.

Perfect for lingering over a relaxed dine-in meal, Ammu’s cosy dining rooms blend traditional touches with contemporary comfort. Guests can always count on consistently generous hospitality, while the friendly service makes the entire experience feel like home.
