New Plymouth welcomes a culinary sensation in Deluxe Diner: the first of its kind for New Zealand.

Open seven days a week, twelve hours a day, they provide nostalgia for the 1950's era in America to the fullest. They're serving up a variety of classic dishes with a helping of Rock 'n' Roll and a sprinkle of Marilyn Monroe.

Deluxe Diner is inspired by Americana and the decades long past. Elvis impersonations aren't part of the service, though, don't ask! However, they do house classic American food from New York-style reuben sandwiches, cheesesteaks, deluxe loaded fries, chicken fried steak (for a Southern spin), and you can't forget that good old American hotdog.

Breakfast (brunch, or even 'linner') is also served Deluxe Diner-style for those not out for lunch. It's always a good time to enjoy a meatball hash, omelette, or pancake stack.

Deluxe Diner is an institution of Americana with a cult following in Taranaki. The car park at Deluxe Diner is usually full of classic American cars and once inside, it’s impossible not to be captivated by the unique blend of retro charm and gastronomy. If you have a soft spot for vintage culture and classic Rock 'n' Roll, Deluxe Diner is a culinary gem that’s simply too good to resist.
