A modern Italian concept with a touch of Kiwi magic, Urban Gusto is serving up bold, fusion flavours with plenty of… well… gusto!

Like any great Italian restaurant, this eatery is reminiscent of the warmth and comfort of home. A casual dining style prevails throughout, welcoming you to kick back and relax with loved ones. And regardless of whether you catch them on a sunny, windy or wet day, the patio, with its extendable roof, is the perfect hangout all year round.

Now, they might be oceans apart, but Urban Gusto’s fusion of Italian and Kiwi cuisine goes down a treat. If you’re here for pizza, look no further than their spritely prawn number with chilli, capsicum and capers! Push the boat out even further for pear and gorgonzola which gives the humble pizza a sweet makeover or go full Kiwi with the NZ Lamb, loaded with lamb mince and pumpkin.

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg! Seafood spaghetti, smoked kahawai risotto, meatballs and a selection of stunning fish and meat dishes make a strong case for this sublime fusion. With Horopito chicken breast and slow-roasted lamb ribs on the menu, who’s to disagree?
