Moored on the glassy sweep of Lake Whakatipu, Watershed Sauna Shared Experience brings Aotearoa New Zealand’s first floating sauna to the heart of Queenstown.

Steps from the CBD yet seemingly adrift from everyday bustle, it offers a rare pocket of calm where mountain light, open water, and enveloping warmth set an unhurried tempo.

The Single Session is a 60-minute immersion in contrast: steady, restorative heat followed by a bracing cold plunge. Guests set their own cadence, lingering on the benches as the lake shimmers beyond the window, then refreshing body and mind with that exhilarating dip. It's simple, elemental, and quietly transformative. Whether marking a special moment or carving out quality time, it turns the floating sanctuary into your own serene hideaway.

Close to everything but feeling like nowhere else, Watershed is about clarity, warmth, and the gentle reset only water and heat can bring. Book a session and take the plunge. After all, this is Queenstown - go on, make a splash.
