We had a lovely evening at The Lodge Bar with excellent food and cocktails.
The spaghetti and the croquettes were absolutely delicious, as were the Kiwi Sunset cocktails. The Lodge bar is a lovely, cosy and incredible place to enjoy dinner and the staff were wonderful!

I'm a long-time fan of The Lodge, in fact I've never understood why people flock to the likes of Rata. This place is WAY better (sorry Rata), with an intimate and much classier feel to it. It's also a stunning place to just sit outside enjoying a wine while while people watching at any time of the day. The dishes aren't large but my group all commented how they got (surprisingly) full. The meat croquette snacks are an absolute standout (for just $4) - be sure to order two each!

From the moment of arrival it felt like visiting a private hunting lodge. Perfect atmosphere, cuisine, beverages and ambiance. If only the snow rolled in and we had to stay the night!

This place was a great find. Warm and welcoming with a well thought out menu featuring local food and wines. Duck liver parfait, venison tartare and parsnip tortellini were our standout dishes.

Had the best evening last night, it’s a hidden gem and the food is just to die for. We like to go for drinks and a few little nibbles so it was great to try lots of different things from the menu. Can’t wait to return, shoutout to George the bar man

Wow amazing food and service, the dishes are on the smaller side but they are excellent well thought out flavours and so tasty. Loved the Pea Barley dish couldn't get enough.

The interior was amazing too very cosy and Lodge like.

We would definitely return to enjoy the delicious food and wonderful atmosphere.

Amazing experience all around!
Started off with some espresso martinis that were incredible, followed by our entrees. The whitefish on toast was delicious! We accidentally ordered a half bottle of wine (we didn’t properly read the menu) but the staff were quick and accommodating to help us get a full bottle for our mains, which were equally as amazing as the starters. Couldn’t fit dessert but enjoyed the rest of our evening sat by the window watching the sunset. Thank you Lodge Bar Team!

What a cool wee spot in town, have walked past it for months intending to go in. Food was fantastic and the service exceptional. We tried a huge array of starter , entree type bits, the oysters and Ora king salmon were to die for! Highly recommended , suprised no tables and chairs out the front being summer but winter I can imagine is nice and cosy

Can not rate this place highly enough.

The first time we visited was a walk in on our visit to Queenstown in 2017 for drinks..

This time around we had lunch (mixture of small plates) and were very impressed by the wonderful flavours and gorgeous presentation.

Staff were fantastic they even shared some very dry jokes with us, which had us laughing.

Everything about this place is wonderful - highly recommend.

The location alone is worth visiting this cute bar!

We had a working lunch, which is never fun on a Sunday but it was made less taxing by the stunning food we were presented with here at The Lodge Bar.

We attempted to taste everything possible, to make the most out of our experience and were not disappointed at all.

I highly recommend the blue cheese and kumara toast with honey for a starter and don't miss the beef cheek and tortellini for a mouthwatering and warming main dishes.

The staff were incredibly attentive and they didn't mind that we were there working and dinning for several hours.

If you want to relax in opulence and grab a slice of heaven but still be in the centre of Queenstown's hustle and bustle then I highly recommend visiting here. I can't wait to visit again when I am next in town.

An excellent first experience with First Table, would highly recommend The Lodge Bar. The food, service and ambience was fantastic.
We wondered as we were going at 5.30pm if we would be rushed in and out for full paying customers, however this was not the case, we were not made to feel rushed and we felt it was a great evening and experience.
Thank you for a great meal and evening.

Amazing food and friendly staff.
All food we ordered were not only delicious but also beautifully presented. Especailly pumpkin risotto and beef cheek were so standout dishes.
Highly recommended.
Only one thing we couldn't do was it was a bit too cold to sit the table facing to the lake.

The Food was amazing. We had a few nice starters and drinks and then came the mains which were truly amazing. We got the pork sausage and spaghetti and beef cheek, it was hard to pick a favourite. The sticky toffee desert was also a highlight. Service was also outstanding. Such a good experience I have voted for The Lodge bar in the Queenstown hospitality awards :)

Had a nice light bite at The Lodge Bar. Wine was BEAUTIFUL!! Wait staff were attentive - however i was served a Beer condiment even though i had let the kitchen know I was a Celiac, and when i questioned them about it they acknowledged it wasn't gluten free but didn't offer to take it back or swap if for anything else.
