The food we ordered are amazing. We ordered a redneck ribs, prawn star and the salmon, all of us thoroughly enjoy the foods. The atmosphere was great as well. We had the whole retaurant to ourselves as there were no other customers, perhaps because people are not travelling to queenstown due to corona virus. Not many people in town centre as well. We will highly recommend Lonestar.

We had a great meal at Lone Star and from the minute we walked in the service was amazing. On entering we were greeted warmly and invited to choose a table. We sat down to eat and the waitress bought menus informed us about specials and left to get our drinks. Our order was taken and in a very short time we were served our entree. The food and the presentation of the food was excellent and continued right through our mains and dessert. Food was cooked to perfection served hot and tasted delicious and the dessert was the perfect end to our meal. Both waitresses that were on constantly came to check on us making sure everything was good and that we were happy with the food. We were happy with absolutely everything and will return as soon as we can

A perfect place for a celebration lunch.
It was my birthday and we both had a lovely time.
Basil was our very attentive server - great to see him again, such a memorable chap.
He is as much a part of Lone Star as the Dixie Chicken.
I was given a complimentary pavlova dessert with a candle for my birthday which was so nice.
Mains were delicious - I had salmon and hubby had steak. Enjoyed so much, thank you.

A lovely evening at Lone Star when the weather outside was so horrible. Had a nice table in front of the fire and were looked after well. Splashed out on three courses and not a bad word to say about any. The pork main took me back to a good old English roast! Thanks :)

Wow wow wow! Incredible food and service! Our waitress couldn’t do enough for us. She was friendly, approachable and a good laugh too! There was always someone on hand to ensure we had everything we needed. Service was fast and the portions were huge! It was absolutely delicious and I would highly recommend Lone star. I’ll definitely be back, especially since there was so much deliciousness on the menu to try out!

Having been to many Lone Stars around New Zealand, we always have enjoyed the Queenstown Lone Star, not just for the food, but Basil our very entertaining waiter. He has been a fixture at Lone Star Queenstown for many years and never fails to disappoint with his attentive service and witty comments.
I had the Classic Johnny Cash Stash which was hot, filling and perfect, while two others in our group had the Salmon which they raved about, and the other member having the Gerhard Burger which was so big they could barely finish it. We couldnt manage dessert as we were too full, but there were some great choices on offer. The Lone Star in Queenstown always delivers and was the perfect end to a day spent up the gondola and doing some serious lugeing. When you dine at the Lone Star ask for Basil, he'll get you sorted.

I and 2 friends had dinner on Tuesday, and it was my first time having dinner in Lone Star. The food was delicious with nice presentation.

There were 2 dishes that quite surprised me which were the Janes Chicken and the Pork ribs. You can taste the chicken and scallops and it's a really cool combination. The size of pork ribs were big and taste amazing, I'll say this is the best ribs I have had in Queenstown. Most of restaurants had pork ribs with BBQ sauce, and it is too strong and take out the flavor from the original flavor of ribs. Pork ribs will be highly recommended.

The waiter names Basil is a such enthusiast man, he introduced all the food to us and take time to chat with us, really friendly. I and my friends were had really good time.

Cheers!

Solid ribs and burger with the experience made by our awesome, knowledgeable and super friendly server Basil. He even went as far as to chase us down the street when we forgot our left overs.
