dinner

Welcome to Boardwalk, where the views are as spectacular as the flavours.

This first floor bar & restaurant is nestled upstairs in the heart of Queenstown's historic Steamer Wharf, and is the perfect dinner location, whether you're craving a casual burger and beer or an elegant three-course meal with champagne.

The dinner menu at Boardwalk is a delightful journey through land and sea. Seafood enthusiasts can dive into the depths of flavour with a treasure trove of grilled white fish, scallops, prawns, squid, and mussels. Alternatively you can relax into your evening and enjoy some delicious favourites like the lamb shank with rich lamb gravy, or the chicken pot pie, with its tender chicken, leek, and bacon in a garlic cream sauce, topped with a puff pastry lid, is like a warm hug on a plate.

For those who prefer a more casual fare, the Boardwalk burgers are a study in balance and beauty. Imagine a beef burger, with layers of vintage cheddar, crispy onions, and pickles, all nestled in a soft brioche bun – it's simple, yet so sophisticated. And for our plant-based friends, the vegan summer linguine is not just a meal; it's a vibrant palate of garden-fresh flavours.

No dining experience is complete without a sweet touch. The desserts, like the silky New York cheesecake or the warm, oozing chocolate lava cake, are the perfect encore to an already memorable meal. And as you sip on a crafted cocktail or a chilled beer in Boardwalk's Rocks Bar next door, you'll make the most of the stunning lake and mountain views that are as much a part of Boardwalk as the food – a beautiful meal in a beautiful setting.
