Welcome to Mackenzies Restaurant and Bar in Queenstown, where culinary magic meets breathtaking views of Lake Wakatipu. As you settle into your seat, prepare to embark on a gastronomic journey like no other. Mackenzies tantalises taste buds with an array of delectable dishes that showcase the very essence of New Zealand's culinary prowess.

Start your evening with the oven baked feta, a symphony of flavours featuring, roasted peppers, sundried tomatoes, and a pesto-infused olive oil, all served alongside perfectly charred ciabatta. It's a mouthwatering melody that will have you coming back for more. Next up, the prawn hotpot, where sautéed prawns mingle with spinach, chickpeas, and sundried tomatoes, creating a hearty and satisfying dish. The ciabatta on the side is perfect for sopping up every last drop of the savoury goodness.

Moving on to the mains, the New Zealand prime rib eye scotch steak is a showstopper. A perfectly grilled 200g rib eye steak dressed with star anise & cinnamon jus and accompanied by roasted seasonal vegetables and Paris mash. It's a carnivore's dream come true. Seafood aficionados will be enchanted by the pan-seared salmon, a tender salmon fillet draped in Beurre Blanc sauce, perched atop a polenta cake and pea purée, and served with sautéed greens.

And let's not forget the delightful vegetarian and vegan offerings. The vegan bowl features secret spiced falafel, crispy cauliflower, and creamy house-made hummus. Save room for dessert, where Mackenzies truly shines. Indulge in the chocolate lava cake, a warm and gooey delight paired with rum cream and tropical coulis. It's a sweet symphony that will leave you craving an encore.

Whether you're sipping on signature drinks or exploring the dessert menu, Mackenzies promises an unforgettable dining experience that will have you applauding for more.
