Enjoy authentic Indian flavours in a fine-dining setting at this neighbourhood favourite, in the heart of beautiful Arrowtown.

With new owners in 2021 this mainstay of the Arrowtown dining scene is set to go to a whole new level. Expect traditional Indian hospitality in a contemporary dining room bathed in sophisticated mood lighting.

The menu focuses on delicious flavours from India and is designed for sharing—perfect for families and friends. Try the mouthwatering samosa chaat or choose from dishes cooked in a traditional tandoor, like Aatish-e-Chaap. Enjoy vegetarian favourites such as tandoori paneer tikka, or non-vegetarian delights like goat rogan josh, along with a mouthwatering selection of homemade chutneys and sides. Don’t miss the special Peshwari naan, filled with crunchy cashews and a dusting of coconut.

There’s an excellent selection of Central Otago wines and craft beers on offer (there’s nothing like a cold one alongside a fiery vindaloo!), as well as unusual Indian sweets such as gulab jamun with phirni.

This restaurant combines beautiful presentation with expert cooking. It’s a winning recipe in our books! Miss out on a First Table? Book a Regular Table and experience the rich, vibrant flavours that make Indian cuisine truly unforgettable.
