Nestled in the picturesque town of Otematata is the best dam pub you'll ever come across.

Otematata's Best Dam Pub is a family-friendly country pub that melds old-fashioned small-town allure with a friendly greeting and a wide array of classic Kiwi cuisine upgraded by a sizzling stone grill experience. Upon entering, you are embraced by a warm atmosphere. Featuring a roaring log fire and cosy furnishings, it's easy to see why people spend their entire evening nestled indoors.

Prepare to explore various options with the exciting new stone grill menu when dining. One standout dish is the Aviemore Angus—a robust 300gm aged prime grass-fed Angus rump. Served sizzling on a 400-degree stone at your table, it comes with garlic butter, a crisp salad, and golden fries.

Alternatively, the bacon-wrapped chicken offers a delectable combination of flavours, while the seared salmon boasts a generous 180gm portion, its skin crisping perfectly on the 400-degree stone. For seafood enthusiasts, consider adding prawns, chowder, or both to elevate your dining experience with a true seafood delight.

And let's not overlook their wide range of local wines, single malts, New Zealand craft beers, and beloved Speight's. They offer an unbeatable selection of beverages to complement your dining delights. Whether you're looking for a hearty meal, cosy atmosphere, or a delightful drink, Otematata's Best Dam Pub promises an unforgettable experience.
