Hidden amongst the streets of Cromwell is a restaurant simply bursting with passion and tradition.

Named after the Italian for 'Evening by Hand', Sera Amano showcases everything wonderful about Italian cuisine, fuelled by a genuine love of simple, honest cooking. Inside, the restaurant is warmly-lit, inviting and intimate, making it perfect for date nights with a loved one or meals with friends and family.

The menu is a devotion to all things Italian. Anti-Pasti comes in the form of juicy meatballs, a classic bruschetta, beautifully marinated Sicilian olives or moreish garlic pizza bread. Pasta wise, there's pasta alla carbonara, lamb ragu and lasagne el forno to name just a few. Is there anything quite as wonderful as pizza, done well? At Sera Amano, their divine handcrafted pizzas are topped with all manner of gourmet goodies and cooked to perfection.

To accompany your starters and mains, you might peruse the short but perfectly formed wine list - perhaps a sexy super Tuscan or stunning Chianti. Naturally, there's ice-cold draught and bottled beer available too, or indeed a classic limoncello, grappa or amaro digestive.

Take a seat outside, where you can watch the world go by on this quiet, pedestrianised street, basking in the heat of the sun-kissed air as you sip another chilled beverage and muse what an absolute gem you've found!
