A warm and welcoming bar and bistro, Cromwell Brew House's delicious sustenance has become a local favourite and it's not hard to see why.

Whether you're looking for a cosy evening out or for somewhere to soak in the afternoon rays, this eatery has it all. Inside it has all the informal vibes of a traditional pub and comes fully equipped with a pool table if you're feeling competitive. And their spacious street-side patio is perfect for a more al-fresco affair.

The menu is stuffed with comforting Kiwi plates that certainly won't leave you hungry. If you still haven't fully woken up by lunchtime (we hope it's not just us) why not opt for the South Islander big breakfast? Alternatively, sample Otago's unbeatable seafood, with the seafood chowder or blue cod and chips.

Dinner places prime meat at centre stage. Go all-in with the lamb shanks, sticky ribs or braised pork belly. There's also a spectacular venison stir fry that's always a crowd-pleaser, especially when it's paired with an ice-cold beer. Speaking of which, you have a host of household names to choose from... it's called a brewhouse for a reason!

Ps, The Cromwell Brewhouse is a First Table "Four + More" restaurant - this means you can book in more than 4 guests at this venue - the extra guests pay the normal price.
