dinner

In the heart of the Marlborough region, Scotch brings a relaxed yet elegant slice of modern French dining to Blenheim. The room marries refined Gallic flair with personal touches from Chef Luigi’s travels, and the welcome is as warm as the lighting - classic French hospitality without the fuss.

Luigi’s cooking charts a course through France and beyond, guided by fresh, local ingredients. A whisper of smoke on slow-cooked pork belly finds balance with chipotle and crisp coleslaw, while beef brisket bites rest under glossy béarnaise. Starters tempt with roasted burrata woven through artichoke and pesto, or a charcuterie spread made for lingering.

For mains, think beef Rossini crowned with silken foie gras alongside gratin Dauphinois, or pan-fried king salmon with seasonal vegetables and a vibrant butter-bright sauce. At times, flames dance over prawns, adding theatre to the table and a touch of travelogue to the palate.

To finish, there is the crack of a classic crème brûlée and deep chocolate comforts, while the menu turns playful with house-made ice creams - perhaps a salted caramel or a vanilla bean.

Book a table, follow your curiosity, and let the evening unfurl - à la minute and with a wink!
