It isn't New Zealand without Tuatara. Named after the native lizard and serving cool refreshments to Kiwis and visitors around the whole country, Tuatara has become synonymous with good times and the laid-back Kiwi way of life.

Today, they're running high on their success with a buzzy destination to enjoy an ice-cold pint. Paraparaumu welcomes the Tuatara Tap Rom, and their extensive venue ensures that everyone has enough space to stretch out, be that on the beautiful patio out front or in their rustic, farmhouse-esque indoor space.

The main event, of course, is the beer, but that hasn't stopped Tuatara from bringing out the goods when it comes to nibbles on the side. Up first are the homemade pizzas which feature a wealth of delicious toppings. Some, like the diavola or pesto, are serving up classic flavours whilst the more intriguing options like the Thai chicken and Tuatara Classic are breaking away from tradition with some irresistible flavours. Alternatively, if pizza isn't your vibe, you can always opt for a mountain of crispy nachos or a German-inspired sharing platter!
