Since 2008, Milk & Honey has been a beloved fixture on Ahuriri Beach - where Napier’s shoreline and warm hospitality meet in easy harmony. With sweeping views of the bay and a mellow seaside tempo, this cafe and restaurant promise the sort of calm that turns a simple meal into a lingering moment - relaxed by day and gently refined by night.

The kitchen draws on bright, pan-Asian accents and coastal comfort in equal measure. Lunchtimes might feature lemongrass chicken with rice noodles and green vegetables, or fresh local fish with avocado and apple salsa. Its food designed for savouring, where freshness, texture and balance take centre stage. Evenings settle into richer pleasures - slow-cooked braised lamb with truffle mash and a savoury jus, or a classic scotch fillet paired with potato gratin and greens.

Sweet finishes lean indulgent yet elegant, from burnt honey panna cotta with tropical notes to a chocolate brownie lifted by salted caramel and mascarpone.

Service is warm, the mood is unhurried, and the sea is never far from sight. Make a date with the shoreline and taste the good life - sweet as honey, and twice as moreish!
