Experience picturesque Ahuriri to the fullest at Boat Ramp Eatery. Daintily hovering over the water to reserve the best views about town, this is where unbelievable surrounds and great food collide.

Come sunrise, midday or sunset, Boat Ramp Eatery is there every step of the way, treating diners to panoramic perspectives of Ahuriri’s mirror-like quay. Of course, their patio is the main focal point of this dining experience, but if the weather is not playing fair, a pristine and polished indoor dining room awaits. Minimal and refreshing, they take their aesthetic cues from the ocean. Whether you’re inside or outside, you’re never far from the Big Blue.

Soak up the morning calm from this unique spot over a plate of something delicious and nutritious. With crowdpleasers like the Big Breakfast (with all the trimmings) and crispy chicken waffle with bacon and maple syrup, there’s no better place to welcome the day. And if it was a particularly rowdy night last night, a Bloody Mary should see you on the straight and narrow in no time.

For lunch and supper, Mediterranean and pub classics get their moment in the spotlight. Using fresh and local fish, you’ll find the likes of pan fried cod and scallops, crispy pork belly bites and green lip mussels. Burger lovers can get their hands around a buttermilk fried chicken or angus beef patty and sweet addicts will look forward to the 'messed up' tiramisu. Charming and irresistible, this pudding is an absolute heartbreaker...
