Located in Sumner, Christchurch, Coriander's Sumner combines traditional Indian cuisine with the serene beachside vibes of New Zealand.

Upon entering, you're welcomed by the warm ambiance of a space blending the rich heritage of Indian décor with a cozy, intimate setting. It's where the spices seem to dance in the air, preparing you for a dining experience as colourful as the streets of Delhi.

Kick off your meal with a sizzle and pop, either from the Chef’s Special Sizzling Tandoori Platter or, for those favouring plant-based options, the Vegetarian Sizzling Platter offers a spectacle of colours and flavours. For the mains, choose between the hearty banquets, each a tribute to lavish Indian hospitality. The Gold Banquet glistens with its choices, while the Vegetarian and Vegan Banquets please with their fresh produce and fragrant spices.

At Coriander’s, no meal is complete without the perfect drink to accompany the spicy fare. The staff will help you select the ideal lassi or a crisp mango drink, but it's the chai that steals the show – a sweet, spiced tea making the perfect finale to a lavish dining experience. So, you come for the tikka, stay for the chai, and depart with memories of not just a meal, but a feast for the soul as well as the palate.
