This is my first time to book a table by using the First Table. The experience is good. For the restaurant, meat and prawn are fresh, and the decoration belongs to the vintage style.

Everything was good apart from not getting any water when we asked.

Great pub and food! The 3 of us were very happy with our meals and will definitely be heading back

Food always good and the service excellent. It was early but there were several people enjoying the sunshine outside.

Back again to the Fox & Ferret. Seriously devine food, exceptional service, and just a lovely place to eat. We had a creamy garlic prawn starter, melt in your mouth fish, salad & chips, and finished on the chocolate pot. The food/service is so good, I'd pay full price!

My burger wasn’t quite cooked enough for my liking and they happily cooked it a little longer for me without complaint! Everything was great. Love dining at The Fox and will be back! :)

We had a fantastic time at the Fox & Ferret last night. The staff were really helpful and kind - even making a special mocktail for the birthday girl. The food was superb. We will definitely be returning.

The food was great and seved with a friendly smile. It's a shame that they had no stock on either of my first 2 choices of drinks, especially since it was on the menu. Not an unreasonable request and not good enough for a pub. Other than that, I'd be back

The food was great but the best thing was the service, they were very accommodating and very tentative.

This was our groups first time for lunch at The Fox & Ferret in Riccarton -and it wont be our last. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. The prawn appetiser had a sauce so good, my friend wiped the plate clean (with bread). We had several people looking after us and couldn't have asked for anything more. Highly recommended +++

It's my first visit to Fox & Ferret even though we passed by many times...

We ordered the Canterbury Angus Sirloin and a Caesar Salad with grilled chicken, the foods were just awesome and tastefully prepared.

Located next to the Westfield Riccarton mall, you don't have to worry about parking and what's more? A little shopping at the mall is a wise choice after such a wonderful lunch!

We will definitely go again!

The fox had an event on this night but they called ahead to make sure upstairs seating was ok for the group.

Was amazing experience. All of the stone Grill Menu was most delicious steak I ever had in New Zealand. Will comeback as soon!

We had a very lovely meal and were pleasantly surprised that we were able to order anything we wanted from their menu as some you have set items to choose from and the staff were very nice to .
My partner had the eggs Benedict with Salmon he talked about it for the rest of the day so it must have been amazing ! Thanks guys will definitely be back soon :)

Was a lovely evening, very popular location with great ambiance. The staff went to the extra mile for one of our guests which was absolutely amazing as she had diet restrictions. Will be back for sure.

I had lunch with my 2 daughters, one had the toasted sandwich and chips and myself and my other daughter shared the platter. The food was excellent and serviced in good time the wait staff explained the platter options and helped as decide which platter was best. The pub was busy, but the atmosphere was relaxed. I would highly recommend dining at the Fox and Ferret.

As it was my daughters birthday we did the First Table deal,the staff were very friendly an were attentive but not annoyingly so,the meals were perfect and the staff went the extra mile for me as I forgot to bring a candle for my daughter to have on her dessert but the staff came through and presented my daughter with her lovely dessert with the candle much to my granddaughters delight.Thank you to the wonderful staff and the chefs for a lovely birthday treat for my daughter and the grandchildren.

really love the food ,friendly staff cant rave about the food enough and fast the food arrives ,cant wait to return and have another meal and never hurts to have a desert anytime of the day ,great service and warm and friendly decent sized meals and not bad on price either

Could not fault this meal or service. All four of us gave it 110 out of 100.

We had a lovely dinner and dessert! The ribs were delicious and although our steaks were a little overcooked for medium, they were tasty. The dinners were large and I asked if I could change the garlic bread for a salad and it was not an issue. The desserts were a generous portion also and even the sticky date pudding had plenty of yummy salted caramel sauce. We left very full but very happy with our meal at the Fox.
