Discover real food without compromise at The Good Street Deli. Now under new ownership in 2021.

This vibrant and modern café overlooks green space and trees, making it the ideal spot for a refreshing break in the city. Good Street is known for its excellent coffee (including a delicious cold brew) and great range of cakes, but there’s plenty on offer for lunch and dinner too.

Breakfast includes pancakes, French toast, smashed avo and an omelette, with lunch featuring a karaage chicken burger, meatball pasta, pork cutlet curry – and a suite of salads, sandwiches and other cabinet goodies including a very popular spinach and cream cheese scone.

Dinners are a new edition as of July 2021 - an exciting menu that boasts Braised Beef Shortribs, Lamb shanks and other meat-lover goodies, along with a selection of curries and salads too.

New head chef Edwin Peng is a Shanghai-trained pastry chef who has worked for the Heritage Hotel in Queenstown and Waipuna Hotel in Auckland - he also specialises in sweet treats like artistic lemon white chocolate mousse cakes disguised as a fresh yellow lemon complete with green stalk and leaf, and a dark chocolate mousse cake as a delicate red rose.

Whatever your tastes, you’re sure to find something fresh and delicious at The Good Street Deli.
