Lucca Italian Restaurant

Set in Waihi Beach, Lucca Italian Restaurant channels the warmth of authentic Italian dining. It's a place devoted to the flavours and rhythms of Italy, where the focus is on honest cooking, convivial company, and the pleasure of a well-made meal. The kitchen looks to classic inspirations and contemporary flourishes, balancing comfort with a modern touch.

Think bright, tomato-lifted sauces, fragrant herbs, quality olive oil, and slow, soulful cooking that lets seasonal produce speak. It's food designed for sharing moments as much as for satisfying appetites. Guests can indulge in dishes like penne al funghi, featuring penne pasta with mushrooms and grilled chicken in a rich, creamy sauce, finished with freshly grated parmesan cheese.

If you've been craving a comforting rice dish, you must try pollo risotto - classic Italian rice slowly cooked along with mushrooms and chicken, with your choice of a creamy basil pesto or spicy tomato sauce.

The mood is unhurried and welcoming, making it ideal for a night out. Service keeps things easy while the atmosphere invites lingering over a final sip of your beverage. Book a table and settle in for an evening at Lucca Italian Restaurant, because in Waihi Beach, la dolce vita is best savoured one bite at a time!
