Gojo Ethiopian Eatery, blending the vibrant colours of Ethiopia with the laid-back charm of West Auckland, is a standout destination for anyone craving world-class food.

The funky décor—bright, bold, and brimming with personality—sets the tone for a unique dining experience. Ethiopian dining is all about sharing, and Gojo’s communal-style platters offer a fun, interactive way to enjoy a meal.

To truly experience the best of Gojo, its signature platters are a must-try. The beyaynetu vegan platter, a vibrant spread featuring crisp salad, potatoes, and misr wot (spicy red lentils), is a star. For meat lovers, the Gojo platter offers a satisfying feast with a variety of flavours, while the doro wat, succulent chicken drumsticks simmered in a rich sauce, served with a hard-boiled egg and feta, is a crowd favourite.

What makes Gojo special, though, is its sense of community. With local beers, wines, and traditional Ethiopian buna (coffee) on offer, guests are encouraged to slow down, unwind, and savour the moment.

Whether dining solo or sharing laughter with friends, Gojo brings the best of Ethiopian cuisine to West Auckland, creating an unforgettable experience.
