Peko Peko Japanese Restaurant might just be Hobsonville’s best-kept secret. What started as a modest food truck has blossomed into a beloved local gem, dishing up fresh, flavour-packed Japanese fare that could rival the best in the city.

The menu is a celebration of Japanese comfort food, with something for every craving. Crispy karaage chicken, golden tempura prawns, rich pork ramen, and tender teriyaki salmon are just the beginning. They’re joined by hearty curries, rice bowls and handmade gyoza, each dish made with care.

Lighter bites come in the form of classic Japanese small plates like edamame beans, gooey takoyaki and fluffy bao buns with a variety of tasty fillings. To finish, a slice of decadent homemade chocolate brownie awaits, best enjoyed with a scoop of vanilla, chocolate or matcha green tea ice cream.

As the only Japanese family-owned restaurant in the area, Peko Peko brings a truly authentic touch to every plate. With recipes passed down through generations, it’s a place where tradition, care, and flavour come together. For a genuine taste of Japan and a standout spot in Hobsonville’s growing foodie scene, head straight to Peko Peko.
