Bhojan Indian Restaurant and Bar is an intimate and stylish eatery tucked away in Royal Oak, you have to be in the know with this one. But that’s exactly what makes it so special.

Not your average curry house by any stretch, Bhojan takes inspiration from European bistros in its layout. Cutesy furniture is surrounded by hand-painted wall illustrations that look almost like doodles, but in a cool, alternative way. Add to that a mustard-yellow tikki truck, and you’ve got a restaurant bursting with personality.

So, what’s the use of the tikki truck? Luckily, it’s food-related, it doubles as a chaat counter. Traditionally a go-to for train journeys and on-the-go lunches, here you can enjoy your paneer and samosa chaat or pani puri in a more leisurely fashion. The perfect warm-up for the feast ahead.

Tuck into malai kofta, kadai paneer, chef-recommended chicken curry, okra chicken, and lamb saagwala. And with Indo-Chinese goodies on the menu too, Bhojan Indian is much more than just a pretty face.
