Welcome to Big Fish Eatery in Penrose, a vibrant Eatery with modern Asian flavours. The concept is authentically unauthentic – a blend of traditional tastes all over Asia.

They are reinventing modern Asian cuisine, creating a menu that offers a fresh spin on classic dishes. Their dishes are made for sharing, with all meals served as soon as they’re ready, without fuss.

At Big Fish Eatery, they are all about good times, great flavours, and down-to-earth dining that’s anything but ordinary, all thanks to premium Kiwi ingredients like freshly caught NZ fish, NZ meats, and sustainably grown vegetables. Kick things off with some irresistible bites and favourites like the crispy karaage chicken baos, while the slow-cooked coconut beef ribs are fall-off-the-bone tender and rich with flavour.

For something refreshingly simple and elegant, the sashimi platter is a must, with delicate slices of fresh fish and seafood. For the main affair, dive into the wok-tossed basil prawns, sizzling with aromatics and a hint of spice, or savour the soul-warming massaman curry, a creamy, comforting dish slow-simmered with fragrant herbs, tender chicken, and hearty potatoes.

And when it’s time to end on a sweet note, don’t miss their legendary biscoff banoffee pie or decadent Cookie Dough, a sweet sensation topped with ice cream - the perfect finale that’s guaranteed to leave you smiling.
