The Village Bar

A homey restaurant and pub that the whole family can enjoy, it's hardly a surprise that The Village Bar has become Patumahoe's unofficial local.

Welcome to The Village Bar's interpretation of modern pub dining. It looks a little like this: a completely open-plan setup with heaps of space, an approachable bar, roaring fires in the hearth, HD sports screens around each corner and an atmospheric patio. Sounds good, doesn't it? Come as you are for some home-cooked comfort with plenty of entertainment thrown in.

The menu is suitably unpretentious, serving up the goodies we all crave throughout a long day. Packed with small dishes to delight you like crispy prawn twisters, Thai mussels and crumbed camembert. Or for a more filling meal you can't go past their pizzas, juicy burgers and salads, the possibilities are endless. We'd like to draw particular attention to the Meat Head, Karate Pig and CCB pizzas. You'll see what we mean...

Other than that, go wild with a helping of crispy pork belly with roasted vege, fried market fish, prime scotch fillet and pretty much anything else that makes a Kiwi menu so brilliant.
