On the North Shore, Tasty Tiny Thai Restaurant distils Thailand’s four famed tastes into dishes crafted with care. Guided by a belief that every plate should sing with balance, the kitchen leans into bright herbs, lime-kissed acidity, gentle sweetness and measured heat. It’s a flavour-first approach that celebrates heritage while keeping things fresh and unfussy.

The heart of the menu features vibrant wok-fired favourites - think cashew nuts tumbled through seasonal vegetables or homemade satay sauce glazed over your choice of meat. For those seeking familiar comfort, the pad Thai balances tamarind and crushed peanuts, while the Thai fried rice offers a classic, savoury finish.

Curries provide a warming centrepiece to any meal, ranging from the green curry’s creamy coconut lift to the massaman’s slow-cooked, nutty depth. Among the chef's specials, cheeky chicken is a standout, folding cashew nuts and Thai sweet chilli paste through a medley of tender vegetables.

Little diners are looked after too, with simple favourites like chicken nuggets and chips or egg fried rice. For those craving a true taste of Thailand in Auckland, this is a table worth seeking. Book a table, bring your appetite, and let sweet, sour, salty and spicy do their happy little dance!
