dinner

Uncle Man's Eastridge brings the bright, comforting flavours of Malaysia to Mission Bay, with a menu that reads like a tribute to street-side favourites.

Flaky roti canai arrives ready to be torn and dipped into warming dhal curry or a rich chicken curry, while golden kuih karipap promises a satisfyingly savoury bite. Chicken satay, complete with cubed rice, cucumber and peanut sauce, keeps things classic.

Bowls and plates lean into bold, aromatic profiles: nasi lemak pairs fragrant coconut rice with sambal, crunchy peanuts, crispy fried anchovy, hard-boiled egg and cool cucumber.

For noodle devotees, there's mee goreng, tossing prawns, chicken and vegetables through a spicy stir-fried tangle, alongside a seafood curry laksa that swirls egg and vermicelli noodles through a coconut curry soup.

Those after extra comfort can turn to chicken briyani rice or a generous murtabak served with dhal curry.

Make a date in Mission Bay for a flavour-filled catch-up, share a few plates, and let the sambal set the tempo - a little taste of wanderlust awaits.
