Making good brews and good views their mainstay of friendly hospitality, Good George Mission Bay Taproom is always a bubbly presence at this iconic Auckland spot. And that's not only down to their enviable waterfront location...

A social hub and local watering hole, Good George is frequented by guests from all walks of life. A seamless indoor/outdoor setup keeps it relaxed and breezy and is alive with happy chatter every evening of the week. A sky-high farmhouse-style roof leads the way to a rustic yet modern dining experience, where guests can munch away at an informal picnic table under a beautiful stained-glass window. It even has a very distinguished game room that boasts stellar views over the bay! And come summer, the patio is Mission Bay's most popular port, attracting guests with its signature buzz.

The food follows suit with informal favourites that the whole gang can get behind. What could be better than a juicy burger to get your chill on with? With the signature savannah Angus double beef patty, battered market fish, crispy chicken and cauliflower and chickpea burgers up for grabs, delicious comfort food has never been easier! Alternatively, opt for another pub classic: the pizza. Go for gold with traditional toppings and make sure to have a beer alongside to wash it down with.

When it comes to bevvies you're in the right place. Showcasing their own brews loud and proud, the Good George beers are an NZ treasure, with pale ales, pilsners, IPAs and stouts aplenty. For the summer months, it has to be a refreshing plum or passionfruit cider and for something later in the evening, a G&T hits just right. How's that for good brews and views?
