Warm pub meets glamorous bistro in this fantastic eatery. It's true what they say, Jervois Rd Bar & Kitchen is where it's at!

The location? Well, the clue's in the name old chum, and their idyllic spot in Herne Bay is a fantastic getaway from the humdrum of central Auckland. Catch it on a balmy evening and watch the sunset from their rustic patio, complete with mosaic tiles and oak furnishings. Alternatively, keep it super lowkey with a cosy booth indoors. And if you're lucky enough to drop by for one of their live-music evenings, you can expect an infectious atmosphere where the Herne Bay community come out in all their talented glory!

The menu is a delicious mixing pot of sharing plates and contemporary Kiwi grub. To begin, get the gang around a charcuterie platter brimming with locally sourced meats. Alternatively, opt for some fried chicken or fish tacos; parcels of pure joy that'll always leave you wanting more.

Their mains certainly won't leave you hungry. Tasty offerings include goat cheese croquettes, crudo, Wagyu beef brisket, Lamb cutlets and ask about the daily specials they are always great. And their cocktails deserve to be a course on their own! Hunker down with a barrel-aged negroni or get the eyes watering with a pisco sour.

Jervois Rd Wine Bar is primarily an adult environment. However, well behaved children are welcome. Parents are required to ensure their children are seated and supervised at all times.
